Lee, tell us a little more about how you got into music!
I started creating music at the age of eleven.
I was inspired by great artists in that era like (2pac, Biggie, Nas, Mobb Deep Jay-Z etc) and a few local artist as well.
These artist made me believe that I can also be great with my music craft.
Not having the access to a studio in my beginning years, I recorded off what I had access to to get my voice heard.
Not knowing I would be as big as I am today.
Your music is a vibe! What does your creative process look like when it comes to making songs?
I like to build relationships with the producers I meet and connect with.
And also figure out where his/her mindset was when the beat was created!
From there, I catch my vibe from the beat the producer has given me.
I like to late night vibe while I'm in production, but whenever I'm on the road touring, I'm around other artist so then I'll vibe off of that and the energy and put it towards the record.
You are a very respected artist; what would you say to aspiring artists who look up to your work?
In this music business, you must know that there will be ups and downs; it comes with the lifestyle.
So stay focused, Keep God first, and stay as positive as you can be at all times.
Get you a strong movement, stay in your lane, and stay in tuned with other artists in the same lane as you.
Keep climbing to the top!
Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?
Yes, I will be doing a few more shows to close out the 2020 year.
Even though we're in a pandemic, I’m still pushing hard and have tours in North Carolina, Washington Dc, Atlanta Ga, and New York to hit.
I’m still pushing my UGLYE227 Tour/Brand and plan on dropping my EP, “No Love Lost” late November also so yea my grind hasn’t stopped!
Much Love!
