This is Jenna.
Jenna, tell us more about how you got into acting.
Since my childhood, I've always had a passion for drama.
It was my favorite subject during secondary school along with arts.
I love expressing myself in creative ways especially through theatre and art.
After school, I went on to doing commercial stuff and extra tv work which I enjoyed very much.
I have recently been casted by back stage cast which are a highly successful New York based acting academy.
They work with many famous Hollywood movie stars, which is super exciting for me given my passion for the creative industries.
What would you say is the most difficult aspect about launching a career in acting?
Self confidence is the first step you need to be sure about yourself before acting.
It’s a very important aspect before you embark on your journey.
It’s also very important to manage your brand in a very positive way.
Jenna, you are also a highly successful model! What sort of advice would you give aspiring models who look up to you?
It’s very important to believe in yourself because if you don’t then who will?
Like anything in life, you have to do things that scare you to grow.
Networking with other models and empowering each other is very important and part of building your brand and exposure.
You must make your work place a happy place and build good relationships with models, photographers and managers.
Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?
I have recently been published on playboy Africa, which took me by surprise since it’s a huge global brand and I was super honored to work with them.
I have a reality tv show opportunity for next summer, which I will be filming for over the upcoming months.
I have various other fashion magazine shoots coming up soon also.
