ARTIST ON THE WATCH: QRO THE ARTIST

Updated: Nov 26, 2020

Qro, tell us a little more about how you got into music!

Ever since I can remember I was in love with music.

My mom always pushed me to get better especially because she loved music as I did.

The way I rap and the way I flow is all thanks to her and my peers who always challenged me keep practicing.

My family didn’t have much and my Grandparents had a lot to do in my upbringing and always taught me the importance of Financial independence and education, so at the time of getting out of high school I left for the military to gain life experience and financial security in 2016.

In 2019 Inspired by the people and strangers around me who always saw or heard me freestyle I dropped my first single “Tough Luck” and it went crazy.

The feeling of performing it, looking out on the crowd and just seeing the room stop just to hear what a small town kid from Clarkton, North Carolina had to say.

I was hooked.

Now that I’m out the military I’m ready to chase my dreams unafraid and with unyielding resolve.
