Earl, tell us a little more about how you got into music?
Since I was little, thanks to my parents, I was totally surrounded by music, from vinyls/cds to music videos on MTV/VH1.
I remember when I was at the summer camp (8 years old), I took with me my ad collection and instead of playing games with other kids, I was a complete outsider speaking with older people about music.
My parents are not surprised about my career choice at all haha.
I started as a DJ and after couple of years, I got sick to spin other people's tunes so I got into production sound design and here the fuck I am.
Your style is such a vibe! What is your creative process when it comes to making new music?
I take inspiration from the 80's such as goth, new wave, death metal, and so on.
The middle ground in my opinion between those and electro music is Dubstep/Hybrid Trap.
When I create a track from scratch, it depends on my mood if I wanna start to compose the melodies/bass lines or drums first and well, the rest is magic.
You are a very respected artist; What would you say to aspiring artists who look up to your work?
Respect comes from being humble first and to have the acknowledgement about being ignorant (I have to mention Socrates' philosophy haha).
Most of the artists I'm inspired by are dead or almost.
The ones I consider my mentors are ATLiens, Phantex, Skellism, and Felmax (they are also nice and kind friends).
Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?
Due to this apocalypse happening at the moment, I had to reschedule every single live show and tour.
I'm still doing live streaming now and then, but I'm taking this period to self reflect on myself and to work on my sound design.
Of course I have loads coming, but it will be in 2021.
