Tell us a little more about how you first got into music?
I initially started making music, with a childhood friend, by the name Dexter Morgan.
At the time I was a Dj playing big & small venues with another childhood friend Dj Chucky.
I used to always freestyle over instrumentals, on vinyls, along with dexter til one day he decided to get a recording studio.
From there, we began making our own instrumentals & doing little recordings; that was until I lost the drive to continue to make music.
Fast forward to 2019, I decided to give the music industry another try and see where it goes along with the launch of Record Label, series music, LLC with Jimmy Blanco & Lashanna Rene Aitcheson.
Followed by my first official release (This Is It).
What does your creative process look like when it comes to writing songs?
First thing I do is vibe to a beat if it catches my attention or gives me a vibe, I normally identify the mood or concept I get from the beat. then i hum different melodies.
Until I find one that I like and compliments the beat in my opinion.
Then I go back and add words to the melody.
This is what I do until I am happy with the recording and overall song!
What would you say to any aspiring artists who look up to your work?
Always go with what you believe in your heart.
Never give up on your dreams, always give it your all no matter what anyone says.
Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?
I am set to release a 5 song EP Titled First Impression.
