BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST: LIL 6AT

Tell us a little more about how you got into music!

Music was my therapy back when I was in middle school.

After the passing of my mom from when I was 6, it all really hit me.

In high school, I used to freestyle with friends until I started recording music.

I wanted to create music that I wanted to hear in the music industry today.

What does your creative process look like when it comes to making music?

I play a beat out loud, take out my diamond grills, freestyle a bar with a melody a couple times until I get the melody then put on the headphones and lay down what I was repeating and just punch in every time I come up with a bar or 2.

What would you say to any aspiring artists who look up to your success?

Keep going.

Don't stop no matter what, because one of your songs you make can possibly be the one everyone gravitates to especially if you market the song the right way.

After you see that everyone likes it, keep that same sound and make something similar if you normally don’t sound like that song.

Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?

Yes I do.

I’m dropping a collaboration EP called NAGASAKI with a rising K Pop star Artist named Lil Boom on all platforms.

He’s my homie and is signed to TenThousand Projects (10k projects).
