MEET CAROLINA RIAL: UP & COMING POP SINGER

This is Carolina.

Carolina, tell us more about how you first got into music?

When I first started singing, I was around ten years old. Music was actually introduced to me through dance as I grew up as a very competitive dancer.

Something I’ve always loved was expressing myself through art; no matter what form it came in.

So at around age ten, I picked up singing because I always knew I had this voice inside me, but I was too shy to use it.

Over the past few years, I’ve been able to work on my craft, grow as an artist, and develop my skills as a vocalist.

What is the most difficult aspect about starting a career in music?

I’d say that the most difficult aspect in starting a music career is finding your sound.

As a young emerging artist, it can be hard at first to portray your message and become the artist you envisioned in your head.

As cliché as it may sound, you need to be patient and devoted, because I’ve learned that true success comes with time and hard work.

What would you say separates your sound from everyone else?

Growing up, I have always been told that I have this big voice for being such a young girl.

I actually love it when people make comments about my range, especially when they consider me to be a powerhouse vocalist.

I want to continue to bring big vocals to pop music and become known as true talent, regardless of my age.

Who are your biggest influences in music?

I grew up constantly being inspired by the iconic, legendary divas like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, alongside current powerhouse, badass artists like Demi Lovato, Jessie J, and Alicia Keys.

Do you have anything new or upcoming that we can expect to see from you?

I’ve been working a ton on music during these past few weeks.

There will also be a remix of my second single, “Know Me Better,” coming out in June. Expect to hear new music and collabs very soon!
